On October 27 through 30, there was held the fifteenth Vascular Surgery Congress in Antalya city of Turkey organized jointly by European Vascular Surgery and Turkey Vascular Surgery Societies.

Dr. Kamran Musayev read a lecture at the subject of “Classic surgery method or new endovascular method in treatment of Abdominal Aorta aneurysm” dedicated to the therapy of Abdominal Aortal Aneurysm – the belly aneurysm, one of the most actual problems of the vascular surgery. The lecture given by our representative has been taken place in a session devoted for by Prof. Dr. Gustav Fredric, the President of European Society for Vascular Surgery. The lecture delivered by Dr. Kamran Musayev provoked great interest and discussion. His approaching method towards stomach aorta aneurysm has been estimated highly by Prof. Dr. Gustav Frederic and other participants.

Dr. Kamran Musayev emphasizing the great deal of these congresses in development of the cardiovascular surgery, stated about congresses held in the capital city of our country as well:

“I have to note that the vascular surgery is one of the areas in medicine, which develops and changes rapidly. We, the surgeons have to master well all remedial methods, the vascular diseases not requiring any operative interventions and their treatment, the endovascular remedy and the classic open surgical methods and to follow the novelties on four main subjects. From this point of view, this congress has a great importance. We have discussed the novelties applied in the cardio-vascular surgery with my colleagues from various foreign countries. We informed them about the speedy development of the health in our country, including the state of cardiovascular surgery. At the same time, we reached an agreement with the world’s leading surgeons to participate in the events to be organized in Baku by us”.
